I WENT TO THE HEROFEST IN BERN, WITH MY IMAGINARY FRIENDS AND MY REAL FRIENDS – AND WE'VE MET NEW FRIENDS.

A cozy setup at a convention booth featuring a small wooden table on a pink shag rug. On the table is a vinyl record player with a heart symbol on the turntable, a pair of large headphones, an audio mixer, and additional headphones. Surrounding the table are two retro-style armchairs with red and brown checkered upholstery. In the background, inflatable palm trees and racks of clothing add to the playful and vintage vibe of the scene.

Where do I start? Sometimes I feel like I don't know where the people are that loves our band. Sometimes it feels like they're everywhere. The Herofest in Bern is a convention for nerd-culture, and I felt like this is exactly where we would fit in. So we got an exhibition booth there and went, my imaginary and real friends and I.

It was a lot of work, but just as much fun. My real friends were probably the highlight of it all. They were supporting me all the way through. Some even from home, as Moritz showed up with a pack of stickers in his bag, which another friend of ours at home had printed for us just for this event. Indy had to go through some cold nights, and yet showed up in the morning to pull any person to the booth and show them our project. Andrej gave us his van to go ahead and get started already, even though he could only join us on Saturday. The event was from Thursday on.

Then we've met so many new people that instantly became friends. Just to name a few, there was our booth neighbors from Libelüll Kollektiv, Gaufe Rider with their amazing shark illustrations, Yuisketch, and Artful Minds – thanks for being cool neighbors! We've also got to meet Marc and Stephan, both photographers and great chatting partners! Then there was Tim, who we have to give a special shout out for, because he was the best customer for sure – Thanks Tim for getting a record and a T-Shirt!

Eventually we had a good chat with Phosphor and even a little interview with Markus from Nerd TV. If you wanna check out that interview, click the button bellow.

He is a large, fuzzy, wildcat-like animal. He's standing against a vibrant orange background, with his eyes half closed the photo shows him captured in movement, as is rotating his head towards the camera. Parts of the image are obscured by blurred green inflatable objects in the foreground, adding depth to the composition.
